This cut and sew item is made from Samurai Cotton, a denim-use No. 10 uneven yarn produced using the same spinning process as the Zero 17oz, knitted into a plain weave and fleece fabric.

This is a special and unique yarn that has a strong twist that is unique to Zero denim yarn, giving it a hard, uneven texture, and also has a strong presence of the original texture and flavour of Samurai Cotton, which retains cotton fluff and lint.

The yarn is carefully knitted into fabric, resulting in a heavy, uneven look and texture that is unlike any other, and while it has a rough and uneven feel, it also feels soft and warm. The rib is also knitted using the same yarn.

The natural colour is left unbleached to preserve the original colour of the Samurai Cotton yarn, leaving it a natural beige colour. This colour is called 'Kinari' in Japanese.

In addition, the sewing of Samurai's products, such as at the sides and shoulders, is carefully finished using all-cotton thread using their own vintage 1960s Union Special 36200, a four-needle flat-seam sewing machine.
